quick update

We are awaiting word on bail..we have gone back to the judge and asked if we can post bond directly with the court rather that spending $25,000 (non refundable) using a bail bondsman. It has delayed her release but ultimately could save $25,000 which could go towards atty fees. Either way, we have her covered. Mechele sends her love and gratitude to all of you....will post as soon as I hear news. Get ready, we are going to launch another letter campaign. I actually heard the last one we did was effective!!! Hugs to everyone! Sandy

The further delay must be very frustrating. I am so hoping that you will soon be able to have some cause for celebration.

Ah, I was wondering what was going on. Saving $25,000 is probably worth it though!

All my best to you and Mechele.

The first time I saw this case about a month ago I knew Mechele was innocent. I am happy to hear that she will finally be free. She was judged unfairly in the first trial and sentenced by a bias judge who disgracefully represented the legal system. I wish the best for Mechele and her family.

So happy that Mechele will soon be out. Look forward to hearing she's free. Let's hope the case is dropped and Mechele never experiences the inside of a Prison again. I can only imagine the elation the family must feel to get her out of that hell hole.

I understand saving the $25,000 and I wish I could do more to help! I think the case HAS TO BE DROPPED!! I don't want to get to far ahead of things, but Mechele should sue the State of Alaska for an eight figure number for what they have put her and her family through! Please keep us updated and my wife and I are so happy for you all!! Who Dat!!

To ALASKADOUG, There already IS a fund set up that takes credit cards, its on this homepage on the left column where it says donate. The Visa and MC logo's are there too. Hope that info helps.
OTHERWISE, What a GREAT Mothers day Sandy and Mechele will finally have! CONGRADULATIONS to the family and friends of Mechele, who waited so long for this grotesque display by the State to finally be shown in the appeals court to have been highly improper & thrown out.
Remember everyone, if the government can claim to be able to read someones mind and take away their freedom, take away their LIFE, based simply on fairy tales and nonsense then NONE of us are going to be safe!
Big congradulations to Mechele and family! May your mothers day be filled with fun and bliss because YOU DESERVE IT!!!

Continued prayers that the judge allows the latest bail option - and quickly, so Sandy, Mechele and Mechele's daughter may be reunited this week - and can spend Mothers Day together, as they so deserve!

I would like to contribute to Mechele's defense fund. Kindly advise when you have it organized.

If I was a member of the bar in Alaska, I'd represent her.

Best regards.
